The painting depicts an industrial landscape, typical for the southern port cities of Ukraine. Port landscapes of Chornomorsk, with the symbolical name «IlyichPort», the previous name of the city – Ilyichevsk, have been changed during the process of cultural decommunization in Ukraine after the Revolution in 2014. As an iconic feature of coastal cities, port systems, which I perceive as a symbol of the local environment -  symbol figurative, political, and social. Skeleton, both in semantic meaning and visually, is the coastal zone's main branch.Some elements, such as colors and hypertrophied flowers, refer us to the aesthetics of symbolism and are a personal feeling about familiar places.
